How to paint an effective maritime painting of St Michael's Mount in Cornwall.
The afternoon will feature a paint-along where we will create a acrylic seascape featuring St Michael’s Mount as viewed looking SSW from the shore at Marazion. Reference material and also original paintings of the subject will be available to aid the study. By the end of the afternoon those taking part should have a completed painting and leave with the knowledge of how to reproduce this painting again should they so wish.
The techniques used will follow a step by step approach. This method of teaching allows the individual to quickly develop confidence in using the paints. Skills are also built up through the explanation of the various techniques used in painting the scene. The development of a personal style of painting is encouraged through individual assessment at various stages of the painting. No one paints exactly the same, we are all unique.
Course Fee - £12.00p This includes all art materials as well as the loan of brushes etc.
Booking is preferable as course numbers will be kept small (max 12) to ensure individual attention.
