Members of my art groups have been invited by the church to come down and paint at the open weekend. They have organised a covered area in which to work so if the weather continues to be as unsettled as it has been we should be safe!

Even if you do not usually paint at my classes in Altham, Barnoldswick or Clayton (alphabetic order to prevent any hierarchy!) come and have a try - its free :-)

Painting will consist of sketching a scene, there are plenty about, and then finishing it with a wash of colour.

I will be there from 1 - 4 on Saturday and 1 - 3 on Sunday.

As well as me there is ice cream, cream tea's guided tours and artefacts on display.
